37 year old, Steve Stephens, behavioral health worker, went on a killing rampage over the weekend, killing 13 people in Cleveland, OH. He is accused of killing an elderly Cleveland man, Robert Goodwin, 74, execution style and recorded it on Facebook Live. The police are still searching for him. He was last located 100 miles east of Cleveland in Erie, PA. Steve worked for Beach Brook, a behavioral health agency serving children through mental services, foster care, and adoption.A warrant is issued for charges of aggravated murder. Cleveland police announced a $50,000 reward has been posted by Crimestoppers Monday for information leading to the capture of Stevens. The footage remained on Facebook for three hours before being removed. In a separate video, Stephens claimed that he killed 13 other people. In the video he blames his acts on his girlfriend, saying that he woke up and decided he had enough.The ex-girlfriend of Steve Stephens apologized to the family of the 74-year-old in a text message to CBS news.
“We had been in a relationship for several years. I am sorry that all of this has happened,” the text message read, according to CBS. “My heart & prayers goes out to the family members of the victim(s). Steve really is a nice guy… he is generous with everyone he knows. He was kind and loving to me and my children. This is a very difficult time for me and my family Please respect our privacy at this time.”
