A Judge Approves Kandi’s Defamation Lawsuit!

Good news for Kandi!

Kandi Burruss scored a huge victory! According to theJasmineBRAND.com, a judge approved a defamation lawsuit from the Real Housewives of Atlanta star against her former employee, Johnnie Winston III.

The lawsuit against Winston reportedly states that he breached a non-disclosure agreement when he claimed that he was unsatisfied with his pay, that he hadn’t been paid for overtime work and that Kandi stole his ideas for her play, ‘A Mother’s Love,’ and a family restaurant.

The Xscape member says she was not aware that Winston was not happy with his pay until August 2016, when they were filming the show. She claimes that he was paid for the time he worked for her and that he was an independent contractor.

In the lawsuit, Kandi goes on to say that Winston’s allegations destroyed her reputation and made her subject to hatred and scrutiny. The judge apparently agreed with her and decided that she had enough evidence to move forward with her lawsuit to seek damages against Winston.
